Executive Assistant to the Group CEO (French Speaking)
We are looking for a highly experienced and professional Executive Assistant to support the Group CEO of a leading organization within the energy sector.
This role is ideal for a dynamic, bilingual professional who thrives in a fast-paced executive environment and can confidently support senior leadership across regional and international operations.
The successful candidate will serve as a trusted right hand to the Group CEO, managing executive coordination, reporting, stakeholder engagement, and international travel across multiple markets, including Francophone regions.
Key Responsibilities
Executive Support (Group CEO Office)
- Provide high-level executive support to the Group CEO in managing a complex and fast-changing calendar
- Coordinate internal and external meetings across multiple time zones
- Prepare executive-level reports, presentations, and board documentation
- Ensure prioritization and alignment of the CEO’s daily engagements and strategic commitments
Board & Leadership Coordination
- Support preparation of Board and Committee meeting materials and full board packs
- Coordinate schedules and logistics for Board and Leadership Group engagements
- Track Board and executive action points and ensure timely follow-up
- Support the Senior Executive Office in ensuring smooth governance processes
Travel & Logistics Management
- Manage end-to-end international and regional travel arrangements for the Group CEO
- Coordinate visas, flights, accommodation, ground transport, and itineraries
- Accompany the Group CEO on selected business trips to provide real-time executive support
- Ensure seamless execution of complex multi-country travel schedules and last-minute changes
Communication & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the key liaison between the Group CEO and internal/external stakeholders
- Manage and prioritize executive communications, ensuring timely follow-ups
- Draft, edit, and translate high-level correspondence, reports, and presentations in French and English
- Facilitate communication between Group offices, subsidiaries, and external partners
Strategic & Operational Support
- Support monitoring and tracking of strategic initiatives, projects, and executive priorities
- Conduct research and prepare briefing notes for decision-making and executive meetings
- Assist in coordinating cross-functional initiatives across business units and regions
- Ensure alignment and follow-through on key deliverables and deadlines
Governance, Compliance & Confidentiality
- Ensure strict adherence to corporate governance policies and internal procedures
- Handle highly confidential information with the highest level of discretion
- Support documentation, reporting, and audit-related requirements
- Maintain accurate and well-organized executive records and filing systems
Requirements
Key Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field
- Fluency in French and English (written and spoken is mandatory)
- 5–8 years of experience supporting C-suite or Group-level executives
- Proven experience managing complex executive calendars and international travel
- Strong experience in executive communication and stakeholder coordination
Preferred
- Experience in the energy, oil & gas, or multinational corporate environment
- Exposure to Board-level operations and governance processes
- Experience working in multicultural or regional (Africa/international) settings
- Provide high-level executive support to the Group CEO in managing a complex and fast-changing calendar
