Responsibilities or duties

Job Purpose :

Responsible for quality audit of all Customer wireless installs & Field Support services.

Role Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Monitor the performance of field technicians by providing ongoing feedback, coaching, and formal performance evaluations to ensure high-quality work and optimal productivity.
  • Ensure full compliance with safety regulations, legal requirements, and industry standards during all installation and support activities.
  • Support technicians in troubleshooting complex technical issues by offering expert guidance to enable timely and effective resolution in the field.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to verify adherence to quality standards and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Address on-site inquiries and customer complaints promptly, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and service excellence.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain zero compliance-critical errors by ensuring all assigned site installations meet 100% compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications or requirements

Minimum Qualifications, Regulatory and Legal Requirements

  • Must have at least 1 year of experience in Wireless installation or a related field.
  • Must have Technical proficiency in wireless systems with knowledge in Ubiquiti and Mikrotik equipment.

Competencies and Attributes

  • Diploma in Electronics & Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, IT or related
  • At least 2 years of experience in Wireless installation or related field
  • In-depth knowledge of wireless installation, maintenance, and repair techniques, as well as industry standards and regulations.
  • Technical proficiency in wireless systems with knowledge in Ubiquiti and Mikrotik equipment
  • Problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot complex issues and provide guidance to 3rd party technicians.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records and preparing reports.
  • Familiarity with different types of cables, connectors, and termination methods.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, following instructions and meeting deadlines.
  • Physical stamina and ability to work in various environments, including outdoor and confined spaces.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with technicians, customers, and stakeholders.
  • Adherence to safety protocols and procedures.
