Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of bartenders, and other F&B personnel.
  • Ensure excellent guest service and respond promptly to guest inquiries or complaints.
  • Assist in recruiting, training, and mentoring F&B team members.
  • Monitor the presentation of food and beverages to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Support daily operations including opening and closing procedures of outlets.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas in accordance with health regulations.
  • Manage inventory and ensure adequate stock of food, beverages, and service supplies.
  • Enforce compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and health & safety regulations.
  • Liaise with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and efficient service.
  • Assist in planning and executing special events, banquets, or conferences.
  • Handle cash and billing processes accurately and securely.
  • Prepare shift reports and assist with budgeting, cost control, and revenue targets.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage Management, or a related field.
  • Diploma or Certificate in Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a supervisory role in a restaurant or hotel F&B setting.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards (KEBS compliance is an advantage).
  • Excellent communication skills (English required, Kiswahili an added advantage).
  • Customer-oriented with a professional attitude and appearance.
  • Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
