Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of bartenders, and other F&B personnel.
- Ensure excellent guest service and respond promptly to guest inquiries or complaints.
- Assist in recruiting, training, and mentoring F&B team members.
- Monitor the presentation of food and beverages to ensure quality and consistency.
- Support daily operations including opening and closing procedures of outlets.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas in accordance with health regulations.
- Manage inventory and ensure adequate stock of food, beverages, and service supplies.
- Enforce compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and health & safety regulations.
- Liaise with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and efficient service.
- Assist in planning and executing special events, banquets, or conferences.
- Handle cash and billing processes accurately and securely.
- Prepare shift reports and assist with budgeting, cost control, and revenue targets.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage Management, or a related field.
- Diploma or Certificate in Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a supervisory role in a restaurant or hotel F&B setting.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards (KEBS compliance is an advantage).
- Excellent communication skills (English required, Kiswahili an added advantage).
- Customer-oriented with a professional attitude and appearance.
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
