We are Hiring Join Swoop Africa as our Founding Sales Manager. Swoop Africa is reimagining how tour operators connect with aviation. We’re a bold new B2B marketplace making it faster, easier, and more transparent to quote, bid for, and book private charter flights. We’re at the ground floor of something big and we’re looking for a Sales Manager who’s hungry to build, connect, and grow with us. Why This Role? This isn’t just another sales job. As our Sales Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind our growth, shaping how the Kenyan tourism and aviation industries embrace technology. You’ll work directly with our founding team, create lasting partnerships, and leave your mark on a startup that’s set to soar. What You’ll Do - Craft and execute a killer sales strategy targeting tour operators, safari companies, NGOs, corporates, and DMCs. - Own the pipeline from lead to close demos, negotiations, and signing new partners onto Swoop. - Onboard and train new clients so they get the most value from our platform. - Be the go-to relationship builder, ensuring partners are happy, engaged, and here for the long haul. - Gather insights straight from the market to fuel our product evolution. - Track KPIs and report on growth like the pro you are. What We’re Looking For: - 5-5+ years in B2B sales, account management, or business development. - Solid understanding of the Kenyan tourism industry (bonus points if you already have tour operator/safari contacts). - Proven track record in managing the full sales cycle. - Confident communication, persuasive negotiation, and natural relationship builder. - Startup-ready: independent, adaptable, thrives in fast-moving environments. - Tech-savvy, quick to learn new platforms. - Degree in Business, Marketing, Tourism, or related field. - Fluent in English & Swahili, with a valid Kenyan driver’s license. Extra edge if you’ve: - Worked in a Tech startup or SaaS sales role. - Experienced in aviation or charter services. - A ready-to-go network in the tour operator space.
