UMIA Ltd. is looking for a General Insurance Executive.

Client and sales management: Prospect for leads, build client relationships, explain policy details, and sell insurance products. Risk assessment and analysis: Analyze clients' needs and assets to recommend appropriate and tailored insurance solutions. Policy and claims administration: Manage policy documents, ensure premiums are paid, handle and administer claims, and maintain accurate client records. Relationship management: Liaise with clients, brokers, underwriters, and other internal and external stakeholders.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to build rapport and inspire confidence. Sales and negotiation: Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms and a results-driven approach to meet sales targets. Analytical: Ability to analyze risk, complex problems, and sales metrics, and a detail-oriented approach. Time management: Efficiently manage time and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Technical: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and insurance management software.
Education: A bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field is often required. Experience: Experience in insurance sales or client management is typically expected. Some management roles may require a minimum of 3-5 years of experience. Licensing: An insurance license is often a requirement to sell policies. Professional certifications: Industry certifications like CPCU or CIC are beneficial. Other: A valid driver's license may be necessary for roles involving travel.
