GENERAL MANAGER, INVESTMENT
Department

Responsibilities or duties
Managing the Fund's portfolio of securities to ensure profitability and compliance with the Fund's risk management policy;
Monitoring the external Fund Managers in the implementation and compliance with the Fund's Investment Policy;
Coordinating the presentation by the Fund Managers Management;
Review goals and strategies with Fund Managers, Investment Advisors and Custodians;
Performing or evaluating research, such as detailed company or industry analyses, to inform financial forecasting, and decision-making on investment opportunities;
Undertaking actuarial valuations;
Adhering to statutory and regulatory requirements; and
Undertaking Portfolio construction; Asset allocation, identification and analysis of new opportunities.
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Land Economics, Real Estate, Construction, Planning, or related field from a recognized institution;
Master’s Degree in Land Economics, Real Estate, Construction, Planning, or related field from a recognized institution;
Knowledge Requirements
Served for a cumulative service period of fifteen (15) years, five (5) of which must be at senior management level or a comparable position;
Leadership Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution;
Must be CIFA or CFA finalist or equivalent
Membership to CIFA, CFA or equivalent professional body in good standing;
Practicing Certificate where applicable;
Proficiency in computer applications;
Fulfilled requirements of Chapter 6 of the Constitution; and
Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
Experience needed
Experience Qualifications
Served for a cumulative service period of fifteen (15) years, five (5) of which must be at senior management level or a comparable position;

Professional membership
Membership to CIFA, CFA or equivalent professional body in good standing
