JOB DETAILS:
Global Pilot Coordinator

Duties and responsibilities:
• Work closely with the Research Manager and Commercial Manager in designing pilots and research tools to answer key strategic questions supporting data-driven decision-making that can help scale the business successfully.
• Support the Research Manager and local Pilot Managers in the planning, setup, rollout, and management of electric stove pilots across multiple markets.
• Coordinate team members, partner organizations, procurement, logistics, and tasks to deliver results for project milestones in line with the project plan.
• Work together with the local Pilot Managers to keep budget tracking and timelines updated.
• Be the key link between the local Pilot Managers and the Research Manager. Schedule regular check-ins, prepare and present progress reports, escalate any challenges, and support problem-solving.
• Be the key contact and liaison with procurement on matters relating to pilots abroad.
• Have ownership of feasibility studies and alignment between different markets according to SOP.
• Guide customer acquisition in line with specific pilot and grant criteria.
• Oversee data collection of qualitative and quantitative data according to best practices to ensure data quality and integrity.
• Continuously monitor core reporting systems to maintain expected standards of data integrity for all pilots through processing, cleaning, and verifying the integrity of data across multiple databases.
• Analyse and clean data to produce compelling presentations providing insights on key pilot research questions.
• Collaborate closely with the rest of the market research team, product development team, sales team, and customer care team, to ensure effective and efficient product development and provide detailed reports to support the development of sales, marketing, and communication strategies for all electric products in each market.
• Support in developing a framework and SOP for the Research Department to clearly define workstreams and outputs based on internal stakeholder requirements and interactions.
• Supporting the grants department in managing reporting schedules and doing follow-ups with the teams to ensure reporting schedules are met.
• Supporting the grants manager in the reporting process; soliciting input from the program teams on reports’ contents.
• Coordinate regular project meetings, develop agendas, and send meeting minutes.
• Assist with the hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members.
• Role may involve travel to other cities /countries as necessary

Skills and Experience:
• 2+ years of experience in project management, program management/coordination in social enterprise or NGO.
• Master's degree in Economics, Project Management, Business, or other relevant degrees.
• Good skills in Excel and Kobo toolbox (or similar tools) for data collection and analysis.
• Be able to adapt to a highly variable environment and change the scope and focus with ease.
• Thrive in a fast-paced creative environment with a culture of experimentation yet value the need to organize and plan.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent narrative writing and presentation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — unafraid to speak up or take issues head-on.
• 1+ years of experience in the clean cooking field, preferably in Sub-Saharan Africa.
• Experience with fieldwork in Sub-Saharan Africa.
