JOB DETAILS:

WE'RE HIRING

CSCEC is seeking to recruit experienced Grader operator to join our dynamic team.

Position: - Grader operator - 1

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating the grader safely and efficiently within the quarry and crusher site.
• Maintaining quarry haul roads, access roads, ramps, and loading areas to ensure smooth and safe movement of trucks and heavy equipment.
• Grading and levelling quarry surfaces, stockpile areas, and crusher operational zones according to site requirements.
• Spreading and shaping quarry materials such as aggregates and gravel.

Required Qualifications

• Excellent Operating skills with at least five (5) years' experience.
• Certificate from a recognized training institution.
• Understanding of quarry safety procedures, traffic management, and environmental regulations.
• Ability to work in dusty, noisy, and demanding quarry conditions.
• Minimum 2 years of experience operating shovel-type machinery in construction or roadwork.
• Strong understanding of grading, excavation, and construction safety protocols.
• Must possess a valid Operating license free from any endorsement.
• Recommendation letters from previous employer(s).

• National ID card
• A recommendation letter from the area chief.
• Certificate of good conduct OR DCI stamped application confirmation receipt (MUST)
• Statutory certificates (NSSF, NHIF, KRA PIN, Bank Account)

Other requirements:

1) Certificate of good conduct and a recommendation letter from the area chief.

2) Statutory certificates: NSSF, NHIF, KRA pin

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 24

Level of Education: professional certificate
