Responsibilities or duties

Develop and implement comprehensive regulatory compliance strategies.

Oversee the bank's adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines.

Manage and lead the regulatory compliance team.

Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify and mitigate compliance risks.

Liaise with regulatory bodies and external auditors.

Develop and deliver compliance training programs for staff.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

Master's degree or professional qualification in compliance or a related field is an added advantage.

In-depth knowledge of banking regulations and compliance frameworks.

Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Experience needed

Minimum of 8 years of experience in regulatory compliance within the financial services sector, with at least 3 years in a senior management role.
