HR OFFICER

LOCATION: NAIROBI, KENYA

REPORTS TO: HEAD OF FINANCE & ADMINISTRATION

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The incumbent will contribute to the effective and efficient operation of the Society by coordinating its administrative and human resources functions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Assist with the recruitment and onboarding of new employees.
  • Develop programmes that enhance employee relations.
  • Ensuring employees have correct pay and benefits.
  • Deliver compensation and benefit comparison reports to the executive team.
  • Promote equality, health and safety within the Society.
  • Ensure that Society employment policies follow national laws and regulations.
  • Advise executive on matters of salaries, redundancy and employment law.
  • Record and process confidential information.
  • Act as a focal point on issues related to HR Policies.
  • Provides advice and direction to senior management in the Society on workforce planning and other HR related issues to foster sound decision-making.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management.
  • Member of a professional body such as IH RM.
  • At least 3 Years' experience as a HR/Admin Officer.
  • Experience working in an NGO.

Salary Entry: Kes. 74,353/Month

This is a Permanent & Pensionable Position
