Join our Team as a HR Officer

Industry: Healthcare Industry

Location: Kenya

We are seeking for a proactive Human Resource Officer to join our team and manage day to day HR functions

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the full employee lifecycle including onboarding, confirmations, and staff exits.
  • Prepare and maintain employment contracts and HR documentation.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and personnel files.
  • Manage attendance records, leave administration, and staff documentation.
  • Coordinate payroll inputs with the finance team.
  • Provide day-to-day HR support to staff and management.
  • Support recruitment processes including job postings, candidate coordination, and onboarding.
  • Ensure compliance with the Employment Act and relevant labour regulations.
  • Support management in handling disciplinary processes and staff grievances.
  • Maintain confidentiality and proper documentation of employee matters.
  • Support implementation of performance management systems including KPIs and performance reviews.
  • Prepare basic HR reports and updates for management.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years’ experience in Human Resource Administration or HR Operations.
  • Experience managing HR documentation, contracts, and employee records.
  • Exposure to employee relations and disciplinary processes.
  • Membership or working towards membership with IHRM is an added advantage.
  • Strong organisational, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high levels of professionalism and confidentiality.
