JeriaL Roastery is a leading coffee roastery committed to delivering exceptional quality coffee. We are passionate about the art and science of coffee roasting and are looking for a skilled Head Roaster to join our team.

Responsibilities

As the Head Roaster, you will be responsible for:

• Overseeing all aspects of the coffee roasting process.
• Developing and maintaining roasting profiles for various coffee beans.
• Ensuring consistent quality and flavor profiles of roasted coffee.
• Managing inventory of green coffee beans and roasted coffee.
• Training and mentoring junior roasters.
• Maintaining and troubleshooting roasting equipment.
• Collaborating with the sourcing team to select high-quality green coffee.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Proven experience as a Head Roaster or Senior Roaster.
• In-depth knowledge of coffee bean varietals, origins, and processing methods.
• Expertise in various roasting techniques and equipment.
• Strong understanding of quality control and sensory evaluation.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience

Minimum of 5 years of experience in coffee roasting, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
