Role Summary:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional Head Waiter to lead the front-of-house dining experience at Shompole Camp. You will be responsible for delivering warm, intuitive, and impeccable service, ensuring every meal is a memorable event, whether in the main dining area or at a private bush dinner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the food and beverage service team, setting the standard for guest interactions.
  • Oversee all aspects of dining service, including table setup, meal service, and wine/beverage pairing.
  • Train staff on service standards, menu knowledge, and guest engagement.
  • Work closely with the Head Chef to ensure seamless service and communicate guest feedback.
  • Contribute to the overall guest experience, assisting with hosting duties as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Head Waiter or Senior F&B Server in a high-end, remote safari lodge.
  • A genuine passion for hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a warm and professional demeanor.
  • Strong knowledge of food, wine, and beverage service.
