Description

Our client seeks to fill a Head of Operations who will be the strategic engine behind the entire portfolio ranging from the end-to-end operational strategy and delivery are executed with excellence, remain within budget, and leverage the best technology and vendor partnerships to drive growth.

Core Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement standardized operational workflows across all events to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Align operational goals with the company’s broader commercial and marketing objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for process automation and digital transformation within the event lifecycle.
  • Oversee the entire event operations budget, ensuring high ROI and cost-efficiency.
  • Negotiate high-value r service agreements with various vendors i. e venues, caterers, and other suppliers.
  • Perform financial reconciliation and post-event profitability analysis.
  • Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing operations team (Project Managers, Logistics Coordinators, Site Leads).
  • Manage external contractors, freelancers, and agency partners.
  • Foster a culture of "fearless accountability" and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee floor-planning, health and safety (H&S) compliance, and risk assessments.
  • Serve as the final point of escalation for on-site emergencies or logistical failures.
  • Direct the integration of event technology.

Job Specifications and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Event Management, Communications, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in the same industry or role.
  • Demonstrated success in running operations in the hospitality, entertainment or creative industry.
