The Role

LOLC Kenya Microfinance Bank (founded as Remu Microfinance Bank and formerly known as Key Microfinance Bank) is licensed and regulated by the Central Bank of Kenya and has been operating in Kenya since 2009, with its Head Office at Westlands, Nairobi. LOLC Kenya Microfinance is also a member of the Kenya Deposit Insurance Corporation (KDIC).

  • Strategic Leadership & Portfolio Management
  • Operations & Team Management
  • Recovery & Legal Actions
  • Vendor & Third-Party Management
  • Compliance, Risk & Reporting
  • Custodian officer of the repossessed Assets

Qualifications and Competencies

  • University Degree in Business Administration, Accounts or related field.
  • Professional Qualification-CPA-K, ACCA or ACIB. Certified Credit Professional (CCP) or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 6-8 years' experience in a financial institution. 3 years or more in Senior Management level
  • Advanced negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong analytical capability to interpret credit data, portfolio trends, and financial reports.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills to motivate field basedteams.
  • Thorough knowledge of legal frameworks governing debt recovery, foreclosure, and bankruptcy.

Computer skills: Must be able to adept in use of MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, internet and email.
