Background

Jacaranda Health uses smart AI tools and human-centered ideas to make pregnancy and childbirth safer for mothers and babies. Their work has reached over 3 million women in more than 1,100 health facilities. They now want a Health Financing Technical Advisor to help counties plan, fund, and sustain strong RMNCAH services.

What you will do:

• Build Jacaranda’s health financing strategy
• Help counties design fair and sustainable plans for RMNCAH funding
• Guide counties on budget planning, spending, and tracking
• Train county health and finance teams on financing tools
• Study financing gaps and give clear solutions for action
• Turn national health reforms into clear steps at county level
• Support new financing models like RBF, PPPs and county revenue ideas
• Work with government, partners, and funders to improve financing for MNH
• Use data to support better decisions in Jacaranda and counties
• Represent Jacaranda in health financing meetings and policy forums

You need:

• A degree in Health Systems, Public Health, Health Economics, Project Management or similar
• A master’s degree is an added advantage
• PMP or Prince II is a plus
• Strong knowledge of the Kenyan health system
• Strong skills in budgeting, health financing, policy, and problem solving
• Ability to write clear reports and explain complex ideas
• High integrity and strong communication skills
