On behalf of our client, we are seeking a disciplined, experienced, and highly responsible Driver to join a dynamic team in Nakuru. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe transport of goods, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining vehicle integrity within a fast-paced industrial environment.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

Education: Minimum of a Diploma, Certificate, or KCSE (D+) qualification.

Licensing: Must possess a valid Class D3 driving license.

Age: Between 35 and 45 years of age.

Experience needed

At least 5+ years of professional driving experience, specifically within a manufacturing or factory setup.

Any other provided details (e.g., benefits, work environment, team info, or additional notes)

Locality: Must be a resident of Nakuru or willing to relocate immediately.

Knowledge: Deep familiarity with Nakuru’s industrial routes and basic vehicle maintenance.

Personal Attributes

Integrity: High level of honesty and a clean driving record (no major accidents or infractions).

Discipline: Punctual, sober, and capable of working effectively under minimal supervision.

Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Swahili.

  • Transporting raw materials and finished products safely to and from the facility.
  • Conducting mandatory daily pre-trip vehicle inspections and reporting any defects.
  • Ensuring all cargo is securely loaded and that all documentation (delivery notes) is accurately signed and filed.
  • Strict adherence to safety protocols and traffic regulations both within factory premises and on public roads.
  • Basic vehicle maintenance
