Job summary

Support the HR department to ensure the daily HR operations are run smoothly and ensuring any arising issues and/or queries are resolved in a timely manner.

Job descriptions & requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in Sourcing for suitable candidates on select platforms.
  • Assist in Conducting interviews and preparation of interview summaries for review and approval.
  • Assist in preparation of new hire contracts, verification of employment and payroll documents.
  • Assist in drafting staff correspondences such as transfers, termination, disciplinary letters and any other as it may arise.
  • Updating staff records and following up with employees on mandatory employment documents.
  • Confirming accuracy of staff records and personal files during audits.
  • Assist in Preparation and uploading of Statutory files (PAYE, NITA, NSSF, NHIF, HELB) and follow up with finance for timely payment.
  • Assist in preparation of leave reports.
  • Assist in Coordinating staff separation from the company.
  • Assisting the Human Resource Officer in ensuring staff adherence to the set guidelines and policies.
  • Any other related duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications & Relevant Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or business related course.
  • Member of IHRM.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in HR function in a busy environment.
  • KCSE Grade: B- and above.
  • Experience working with IHRS.
  • Proficiency in standard computer application such as Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong work ethics.
  • An individual with High integrity
