Background

Inspire Credit Limited is a non-bank financial service company licensed as a Digital Credit Provider (DCP) by the Central Bank of Kenya.

Key Responsibilities:

The Human Resources Manager will:

  • Lead the full HR function, including Recruitment, Performance Management, Training & Development, Employee Relations, and HR Operations
  • Drive culture transformation and strengthen staff engagement across all branches
  • Ensure full compliance with labour laws, regulatory requirements, and internal policies
  • Oversee talent acquisition and build strong leadership pipelines
  • Manage disciplinary processes, staff welfare, and employee grievance handling
  • Provide strategic HR advisory to senior leadership and support organisational growth
  • Implement HRIS, policies, systems, and process improvements for operational excellence

Qualifications & Experience:

We're looking for candidates with:

  • Bachelor's degree in HRM, Business, or related field (Higher qualification/CHRP is an added advantage)
  • Minimum 5–7 years progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role
  • MUST have experience in the microfinance industry
  • Strong knowledge of the Employment Act and HR best practices
  • Excellent communication, leadership, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills
  • High integrity, confidentiality, and strong organisational judgement
