Job Summary:

The IT Personnel is responsible for maintaining the organization’s computer systems, networks, and IT infrastructure. This role ensures smooth day-to-day operations, provides technical support to staff, and safeguards data and systems.

Responsibilities or duties:

  • Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and networks
  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot system and network issues
  • Monitor system performance and ensure security and efficiency
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls
  • Perform regular system updates, backups, and maintenance
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity problems
  • Maintain IT documentation, including system configurations and procedures
  • Support cybersecurity measures and ensure data protection
  • Assist in procurement and setup of IT equipment
  • Train staff on basic IT systems and best practices

Qualifications or requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field

Preferred Skills:

  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified
  • Experience with cloud services and virtualization
  • Knowledge of database management and system administration

Working Conditions:

  • Office-based with occasional off-site support
  • May require after-hours support for system maintenance or emergencies
