JOB DETAILS:
Background
The Inclusion Officer's responsibility is to support employers and candidates to ensure workplaces are accessible, safe, and supportive for employees with disabilities. They work closely with the Placement and Employer Relations teams.
Responsibilities
- Conducting workplace assessments
- Recommending reasonable accommodations
- Guiding employers on inclusive recruitment and workplace practices
- Delivering disability-awareness training sessions
- Preparing tools and materials to support inclusion
- Supporting candidates transitioning into new jobs
- Helping address workplace challenges
- Documentation and reporting — keeping updated records of inclusion activities and preparing progress updates and success stories
Qualifications
- A degree in Social Work, Psychology, Disability Studies, Gender Studies or related field
Experience
- At least 3 years of experience in disability-inclusion or related work
Skills
- Strong facilitation skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Communication skills
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 36
Level of Education: bachelor degree
