Job Description Information Systems Contractor (Drupal Specialist) Deadline : Nov 12, 2025 Result of Service The following outputs will be delivered by contractor on an ongoing basis: Output 1: 1.1 Reports of technical guidance and specialized support provided for DSDG digital platforms, including the 2026 UN Water Conference website and Global SDG Partnerships/Commitments Platforms, ensuring alignment, functionality, and integration across related tools. 1.2 Report on the setting up of a fully restored, unified, and secure search functionality for the SDGs platform, integrating all existing search engines into a single, efficient system. The report should indicate how the new search feature is fully operational, user-friendly, and protected against automated BOT attacks, ensuring consistent and reliable search results across all platform content. Output 2: 2.1 Official website for the United Nations Decade of Sustainable Transport (2026–2035) developed, launched, and maintained in alignment with UN digital and accessibility guidelines, including a platform featuring compendium of Sustainable Transport Action Commitments. 2.2 Technical evaluation and system integration plan completed for Connect2030, including feasibility assessment and implementation roadmap for its migration to the DSDG platform or an alternative stable, cost-effective hosting environment ensuring long-term sustainability. Output 3: Report on activities taken for existing Drupal-based information systems for DSDG maintained, enhanced, and kept fully operational, with security patches and modules updated, performance monitored, and technical issues resolved to ensure reliability, security, and user support continuity. Output 4: Report confirming that Drupal security patches and modules on 12 DESA websites* hosted with UNGSC are up to date. All work/outputs are the sole property and copyright of the United Nations, and delivery of all original materials / design document, research, codes, notes are required to be made in standard formats that are modifiable by the United Nations.
