Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities: -

Interpretation of Architectural and Engineering drawings, comparing their details with work on site and compiling site reports; Checking minor repairs and alteration of existing buildings; Carrying out surveys of potentially dangerous buildings; Assisting in planning and supervision of building projects; Assisting in Preparation of Bill of quantities for Construction/ Building projects; Advising developers and clients on all technical matters related to the building designs and development control within the county; Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements & Qualifications

For appointment to this grade, an applicant MUST have: -

Diploma in any of the following fields: Building and Civil Engineering; Construction Technician Part III; or its equivalent and relevant qualifications from a recognized institution.
