Process / Laboratory Chemist

Duties and Responsibilities but not limited to;

  • Plating materials Forecast, plan, implement and control plating schedule for job and review and adjust where necessary.
  • Carry out plating processes
  • Ensure availability of process water through timely operation of reverse osmosis water treatment water.
  • Balance quality, productivity, cost, safety and morale to achieve positive results in all areas.
  • Make decisions about equipment use, maintenance, modification and organizing the repair and routine maintenance of plating equipment.
  • Work with other departmental heads to implement the company’s policies and goals.
  • Monitor quality standards of the products
  • Implement standard operating procedures for plating operations and chemical analysis of plating solutions and ensure they are adhered to.
    1. Chemical analysis through volumetric analysis
    2. Density, PH and conductivity tests
    3. Hull cell test
    4. Calibration of laboratory equipment
  • Timely prepare and maintain plating reports
  • Preparation and maintenance of laboratory documentation.
  • Day to day plating cost tracking

More Details on Experience

  • BSc degree in Chemistry/Science/Engineering
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in electrolysis process
  • Analytics and Communication skills

Quality Assurance Manager

Duties and Responsibilities but not limited to;

  • Compile company wide quality control reports, create statistical process control metrics, manage nonconformity material discrepancy reports, recommend continuous improvement activities.
  • Prepare monthly summaries of quality issues, present to the senior management team.
  • Setting requirements for raw material or intermediate products for suppliers and monitoring their compliance
  • Review and improve the existing Quality Record.
  • Implement quality training programs for key quality & manufacturing personnel and supply chain partners.
  • Ensure appropriate calibration of quality equipment.
  • Work with Logistics to integrate quality standards as part of the Service Level Agreement for core suppliers and, where appropriate, assess supplier return products with failure analysis.
  • Issue and manage supplier Corrective Action Reports.
  • Support production, Inventory, Procurement and Logistics with annual business reviews of key suppliers.
  • Work with Design on new component introduction, alternative raw materials, tooling requirements, test plans, and product qualification requirements.
  • Design and implement Quality Plans for all parts to be integrated into CAD drawings.
  • Communicate and share the company quality philosophy to key personnel in the company.
  • Keep senior management abreast of significant developments identified during quality control activities.
  • Investigate and record customer complaints regarding product performance, specifications, and reliability.
  • Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality

  • BSc degree in Chemistry / Engineering/ Science
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage a variety of cross-functional team members
  • Excellent organizational and follow-up skills

Procurement Associate 

Duties and Responsibilities but not limited to;

  • Develop procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective
  • Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms.
  • Organizing and confirming delivery of goods and services.
  • Source and engage reliable suppliers and vendors.
  • Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-going feasibility.
  • Building and maintaining long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Performing risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements.
  • Promoting a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.
  • Creating, Overseeing, and managing the tools/systems that track shipments, inventory, and the supply of goods.
  • Preparing procurement reports.

More Details on Experience

  • BSc degree In Purchase and Supply/Business Management Procurement option.
  • 2 years’ experience in procurement and supply chain management.
  • Registered by KISM will be an added advantage
