Judge of the Environment and Land Court of the Republic of Kenya - 10 Posts at Judicial Service Commission
The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) is a part-time constitutional commission established under Article 171 of the Constitution and its membership comprise of: The Chief Justice who is the Chairperson One Supreme Court judge; One Court of Appeal judge One High Court judge One Magistrate The Attorney General Two advocates (one woman and one man)

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• The functions and jurisdiction of the Court is provided for under Article 162(2)(b) of the Constitution as read with Part III of the  Environment and Land Court Act, Cap 80

Job Requirements: Academic and Professional Qualifications:

• Hold a law degree from a recognized university, or be an advocate of the High Court of Kenya, or possess an equivalent qualification in a Common-law jurisdiction;
• Be an advocate of the High Court of Kenya, or possess an equivalent qualification in a Common-law jurisdiction;

Job Core Competencies:

• High level of Integrity
• Professional and Technical competence

Work Hours: 8
