Laboratory Technician – Applied Sciences Department (1 Position)
Responsibilities or duties
- Prepare and arrange practical sessions in liaison with lecturers.
- Maintain order and cleanliness in workshops or laboratories.
- Take care of equipment, machines and tools.
- Keep records of issued laboratory equipment and materials.
- Ensure proper installation, maintenance and repair of laboratory tools.
- Maintain inventory of equipment and materials.
- Ensure safety in laboratories at all times.
- Prepare work instruction sheets for laboratory equipment.
- Prepare individual work plans.
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
- Diploma in Science Laboratory Technology, Analytical Chemistry, Applied Biology, or related field.
- Certificate in Computer Applications from a recognized institution.
