JOB DETAILS:

Join Mirema School as a Laundry Attendant - responsible for cleaning, ironing, repairing, and maintaining school laundry (uniforms, beddings, linens, and curtains) to the highest standards of hygiene and order.

Qualifications

• Certificate/Diploma in Housekeeping & Laundry from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a school, hospital, or hotel setting.
• Knowledge of fabric care and laundry equipment.
• High standards of cleanliness and organization.

Skills and Attributes

• Collect, wash, dry, and iron uniforms, beddings, and staff coats.
• Operate and maintain laundry machines safely and efficiently.
• Handle detergents and cleaning agents correctly.
• Fold, label, and store laundered items neatly.
• Perform minor repairs (stitching, buttons).
• Maintain cleanliness of the laundry room and monitor supplies.
• Report damages or equipment faults promptly.
