JOB DETAILS:

1. Installation and Assembly
   • Install, assemble, and configure mechanical systems, equipment, or machinery according to technical specifications.
2. Maintenance and Repairs
   • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems to ensure optimal functionality.
   • Diagnose faults, troubleshoot issues, and conduct repairs on machinery or equipment.
3. Testing and Calibration
   • Test mechanical components for performance, safety, and compliance.
   • Calibrate instruments and equipment to meet operational standards.
4. Documentation
   • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
   • Report on work performed, issues identified, and recommendations for improvements.
5. Safety Compliance
   • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working with machinery and tools.
   • Ensure all mechanical systems meet industry and company safety standards.
6. Collaboration
   • Work with engineers, electricians, or other technicians to resolve complex mechanical issues.
   • Provide technical support to operational teams as needed.
7. Parts Management
   • Identify and requisition necessary parts, tools, or equipment for repairs and maintenance.

Expected Skills/Qualifications (Based on Typical Requirements for This Role)

• Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience as a Mechanical Technician, preferably in a relevant industry (e.g., manufacturing, automotive, HVAC, or industrial machinery).
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools, diagnostic equipment, and technical manuals.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
