JOB DETAILS:

Minimum Qualifications

• University Bachelor's degree, or equivalent (an advanced degree in Education is desirable)
• Teacher certification from an accredited university/college
• Degree/certification should be relevant to the teaching position
• Minimum 2-3 years relevant teaching experience
• International School experience preferred
• Solid understanding of pedagogy and instructional approaches, curriculum design, and assessment aligned with our mission, vision and educational philosophy.
• Cultural proficiency
• Understanding by Design model
• Social Emotional Learning
• Educational Technology
• Universal Design for Learning
• Communication skills
• Student-centered approach
• Conceptual inquiry
• Experience with Common Core State Standards for Mathematics and Next Generation Science
• Standards. Experience with Building Thinking Classrooms in Mathematics and Open Sci Ed is preferred!
