THE POSITION

We seek to fill the position of Machine Operator for our sister company J&I Consult with a suitably qualified and competent individual with operating and troubleshooting food packaging machinery experience. The Machine Operator will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest quality standards by ensuring that every product package meets high standards for taste, freshness, and presentation.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set up and operate packaging machinery for roasted cereals with precision and efficiency.
• Monitor machinery during operation, making necessary adjustments to ensure smooth production.
• Perform quality checks on packaging materials and finished products to maintain high standards.
• Keep accurate records of production data, machine maintenance, and any incidents.
• Troubleshoot and address minor mechanical issues to minimize downtime and disruptions.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets and meet deadlines.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

QUALIFICATIONS

The job holder should have the following qualifications:

• At least a craft certificate in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• At least 1 year work experience as a machine operator, preferably in a food packaging company dealing in roasted cereals such as peanuts, beans, potato crisps etc.
