Background
The Maritime Safety Trainer will deliver instruction on safety procedures, emergency preparedness and risk management within maritime environments.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities may include:
- Teaching maritime safety courses.
- Preparing safety demonstrations and emergency drills.
- Training learners on accident prevention.
- Explaining emergency response procedures.
- Supporting practical exercises involving safety equipment.
- Assessing trainees’ knowledge and practical ability.
- Maintaining training documentation.
- Reinforcing safe conduct aboard vessels.
- Providing feedback to trainees.
- Supporting the academy’s safety-focused programmes.
