JOB DETAILS:
GARMENT INDUSTRY
MOMBASA, KENYA
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Install, inspect, maintain and repair sewing machines and related equipment.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and carry out corrective actions.
Ensure machines are in good working condition to minimize downtime.
Carry out routine preventive maintenance and servicing.
Keep accurate maintenance records and report any issues.
Support production team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
Certificate/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Garment Technology (preferred).
1-3 years of experience as a Technician in garment industry.
Good knowledge of industrial sewing machines and equipment.
Ability to read technical manuals and diagrams.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.
