JOB DETAILS:

• The Mechanic will be responsible for repairing, servicing, and maintaining factory machines to ensure continuous and efficient garment production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in sewing machines, cutting machines, embroidery machines, printing machines, boilers, compressors, and other production equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance to reduce machine downtime and extend equipment life.
• Assist in installation, setup, and alignment of new machines.
• Fabricate, adjust, and replace worn-out parts when necessary.
• Maintain maintenance logs and report recurring issues to management.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards during machine handling and repairs.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma/Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Plant Maintenance, or related field.
• 3+ years’ experience as a mechanic in manufacturing (garment/textile industry preferred).
• Hands-on experience with industrial sewing and garment production machines.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read technical manuals and drawings.
• Team player with good communication skills.

Work Conditions:

• Factory-based role with exposure to noise, dust, and heat.
• May require overtime or weekend shifts for urgent breakdowns.

Experience in Months: 36

Level of Education: bachelor degree
