Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the review of all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in ultrasound techniques
  • Implement the assigned field task in ultrasonography during fieldwork
  • Support field work, anthropometric measurements, and triaging of participants
  • Maintain infection prevention and control standards.
  • Perform regular sonography and ultrasound apparatus/equipment maintenance and servicing.
  • Assist in data management, including accurate management and archiving of digital bioimages from scans.
  • Conduct other physiological examinations on participants, including Spirometry, Grip strength, Leg force assessment, among others.
  • Assist in project outreach and research findings dissemination.

  • Minimum Diploma in Medical Imaging Sciences, Radiography, or any related field Mandatory
  • Registered/licensed with Kenya Nuclear Regulatory Authority (KENRA) Mandatory
  • Experience in medical imaging techniques Mandatory
  • Planning skills Mandatory
  • Communication and reporting skills Mandatory
  • Interpersonal skills Mandatory
  • Team player Mandatory
  • Must be comfortable in remote field work conditions Mandatory
