Experience:

Be an advocate of the High Court of Kenya or possess an equivalent qualification in a Common-law jurisdiction.

Have at least seven (7) years post-admission experience.

Must not be a member of the public service or take an active part in the activities of a political party.

Meet the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution on leadership and integrity.
