JOB DETAILS:
Mentors BDS Mentors will play a crucial role in guiding entrepreneurs and business professionals towards success by providing strategic advice, capacity building, and business support. Qualifications of Mentors Hold a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Economics, or a related field. A Master's degree in a relevant field is an added advantage. Have at least three (3) years of experience in mentoring, coaching, or supporting micro and small enterprises, particularly in Kenya. Have a minimum of three (3) years successful track record of running their own business or managing business support programs for youth/vulnerable populations/entrepreneurs. Possess expertise in relevant key business areas, such as strategic planning, financial management, marketing, and operations. Have a minimum of three (3) years' experience providing mentorship to early-stage entrepreneurs, helping them navigate business challenges and develop sustainable enterprises. Demonstrate knowledge of the local business ecosystem in Kenya, including regulatory frameworks, market trends, and financing opportunities for MSMEs.
