Role Overview

You will work in the Investigations Department, supporting doctors in analyzing medical claims arising from road traffic accidents and providing second medical opinions on injuries. This is a medical-legal and insurance-focused role rather than a traditional clinical position.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and verify medical records and treatments
• Prepare investigation and medical reports
• Identify inconsistencies between hospital and police reports
• Detect misdiagnosis or irregular documentation
• Re-examine accident victims for second opinions
• Support fraud detection in medical facilities

Requirements

Academic & Professional

• Degree or Diploma in Nursing (KRCHN/KRN)
• Registered with the Nursing Council of Kenya
• Valid practicing license

Experience

• At least 2 years in a busy hospital
• Experience in insurance is an added advantage

Skills

• Strong analytical and report writing skills
• Good IT skills (MS Office)
• High level of integrity and attention to detail
• Ability to identify inconsistencies and potential fraud
• Good communication and organizational skills
