We are seeking a highly organized and creative OTT Platform Content Manager to lead the full lifecycle management of video content across our Over-The-Top (OTT) platform. From live streams to on-demand shows, you will ensure every piece of content is strategically curated, accurately formatted, and optimally scheduled for maximum engagement and monetization. This role blends content operations, visual presentation, and platform strategy to deliver a seamless and compelling user experience.

Their key responsibilities include:

  • Manage the ingestion, scheduling, and publishing of video content across all OTT verticals (news, entertainment, sports, lifestyle, etc.).
  • Ensure all uploaded videos adhere to platform guidelines and quality standards (resolution, duration, metadata, etc.).
  • Curate and organize content into playlists, carousels, and featured categories to enhance discoverability and engagement.
  • Track content performance and optimize based on consumption patterns.
  • Operate the OTT content management system (CMS) efficiently to upload, tag, categorize, and publish content.
  • Coordinate with tech/engineering to resolve content delivery issues (e.g., transcoding failures, thumbnail errors, playback issues).
  • Monitor video metadata accuracy — titles, descriptions, keywords, language, subtitles, and publishing times.
  • Collaborate with design teams to ensure high-quality thumbnails, banners, and episode artwork are optimized for engagement.
  • Apply A/B testing insights to improve visual assets (thumbnails, banners) and maximize click-through rates.
  • Review and approve content for editorial accuracy, format integrity, copyright compliance, and platform suitability.
  • Enforce content standards across different formats (e.g., vertical, horizontal, short-form, full-length).
  • Work closely with editorial, production, marketing, legal, and analytics teams to support content launches and campaigns.
  • Collaborate with social media and audience teams to drive traffic to the OTT platform.
  • Identify underperforming and high-performing content and recommend editorial actions.
  • Suggest content packaging ideas (e.g., genre bundles, weekend specials, countdowns).
  • Support promotional planning (e.g., featured shows, homepage takeovers, app banners).
  • Enforce content standards across different formats (e.g., vertical, horizontal, short-form, full-length).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Media, Film, Communication, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in content operations or digital video publishing, preferably in a digital only/OTT or streaming platform environment.
  • Familiarity with VOD, Live streaming, and Catch-up TV workflows.
  • Experience with major OTT CMS platforms like Vimeo, YouTube CMS, or Meta Business Suite or other custom CMS tools.
