Basic Job Summary

The jobholder is responsible for providing administrative, operational, and coordination support to the Office of Faculty Affairs and the Centre for Teaching Excellence (CTE), facilitating the efficient management of faculty-related processes and initiatives promoting teaching excellence.

Duties and Responsibilities

Administrative Support

  • Manage the daily operational needs of the office.
  • Scheduling meetings, coordinating events, managing correspondence, and maintaining office records.
  • Ensure effective communication flow within the program office and with university stakeholders.
  • Serve as a point of contact for faculty and staff for routine inquiries and support.
  • Ensure effective communication between departments and stakeholders.

Program Coordination and Management

  • Support OFA and CTE programs by organizing workshops, training sessions, award processes, and faculty development initiatives.
  • Manage registration, communications, and event logistics for OFA and CTE activities.

Data Management and Reporting

  • Maintain databases of faculty affairs and teaching excellence initiatives, and reporting metrics.

Minimum Academic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Office Management, Education Administration, or related discipline is required.

Work Experience

Minimum 2 years of experience in academic administration, faculty affairs, or professional development support.

Proven skills in office management, project coordination, and stakeholder communication.
