Background

The Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development (KICD) was established by the Government of Kenya on the 14th of January 2013 under an Act of Parliament-Act No.4 of 2013, to provide research based curricula and curriculum support materials responsive to the needs of the society.

Duties and Responsibilities.

Managing office correspondence, including emails, letters, and phone calls

Organizing and maintaining filing systems (both physical and electronic)

Monitoring office supplies and placing orders when necessary

Ensuring office equipment is functional and arranging repairs when needed

Handling confidential documents with discretion

Managing databases and updating information regularly

Welcoming visitors and responding to inquiries professionally

Requirements for appointment

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have: -

Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: - Business Administration; Office Management or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;

Computer literacy; and

Fulfill the requirement of Chapter Six of the Constitution.
