Background

TradeMark East Africa (TMEA) is a non-profit company funded by the UK’s Department for International Development (DFID), the European Union (EU), Canada, France, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, and the United States of America. TMEA aims to strengthen the capacity of East African countries to compete in the global market and to drive economic growth and poverty reduction.

Responsibilities

The Officer, Project Management Office will be responsible for supporting the Project Management Office (PMO) in the planning, execution, and monitoring of TMEA projects. This includes assisting in the development of project plans, tracking project progress, managing project documentation, and ensuring compliance with TMEA’s project management guidelines.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Project Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline. A minimum of 2 years of experience in project support or administration, preferably within a development or non-profit organization, is required. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS Project, is desirable.

This is a full-time position based at TMEA’s Head Quarters in Nairobi, Kenya. TMEA offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
