Oncologist
We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Oncologist, preferably of Indian nationality, to join our medical team. The ideal candidate should have completed specialized training in oncology and possess strong clinical skills in diagnosing, treating, and managing cancer patients. This role requires compassion, professionalism, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and treat various types of cancers using up-to-date oncology protocols.
Develop individualized treatment plans, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapy.
Review patient histories, imaging, laboratory results, and biopsy reports for accurate diagnosis.
Monitor patient progress, adjust treatments as needed, and provide supportive care.
Collaborate closely with surgeons, radiologists, oncology nurses, and other specialists.
Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment options, risks, and prognosis.
Maintain accurate medical records while adhering to hospital and regulatory standards.
Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, case reviews, and ongoing medical education.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) or equivalent.
Specialized training in Oncology (required; Master’s degree is NOT mandatory).
Valid medical license to practice in Kenya or eligibility to obtain one.
Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in oncology practice.
Strong clinical knowledge of modern oncology treatments and technologies.
Excellent communication, empathy, and patient-care skills.
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
