Logistics Assistant

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship, deliver)
  • Receive, disinfect store and prepare cylinders for filling during production (pick, unload, disinfect, label, store)
  • Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
  • Collect and send invoices to appropriate customers
  • Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
  • Assist peers as required (coordinate meetings, training, etc.)
  • Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
  • Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
  • Run errands in town (postal services, pick up supplies)
  • Responsible for organization of property maintenance

Desired Skills, experience and knowledge 

  • Certificate in business related course with at least 3 years of relevant working experience
  • Relevant experience is defined as experience in logistics, procurement or supply change management.

Office Administrator

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Review invoices, reports, memos and correspondence to ensure accounting records and documents are accurate.
  • Work with customers and Support Services to collect, maintain and report accurate accounts receivable. 
  • Complete daily deposits.
  • Process all payments in a timely manner.
  • Process and track accounts payable invoices and vendor applications.
  • Process product and service sales documentation in an accurate and timely manner
  • Perform general office duties, order supplies, file, mail processing distribution and maintain records management database systems.
  • Opening, sorting and distributing incoming correspondence, including supplies, inventory and all communication

Education and Experience:

  • BA Degree/ Diploma in Finance or Business Administration or related field preferred

Service Representative

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Pick up and deliver medical equipment (e.g., respiratory supplies, oxygen equipment, hospital beds, wheelchairs, etc.) and oxygen to patients in their homes.
  • Assemble, set up, inspect and test equipment, and instruct patients and caregivers on basic operation and maintenance, in accordance with state licensing limitations.
  • Complete paperwork relating to deliveries, pick-ups, testing and equipment checks, repairs, vehicle inspections, etc.
  • Load and unload company vehicles with equipment and oxygen.
  • Operate non-commercial vehicles (<5,000 KG GVW and carrying medical equipment and oxygen.
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections and check for gasoline, oil and fluid levels, tire pressure, and brakes.
  • May be required to clean, disinfect and assist with equipment repairs.
  • May be required to work after-hours and on an on-call basis.
  • Successfully complete all required safe driving programs, abide by applicable motor vehicle laws and ordinances, and demonstrate safe driving practices at all times throughout employment.
  • Maintain valid licenses and endorsements required for the position.
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • This position requires flexibility in being able to help cover for other drivers when on vacation and other leaves of absence. Drivers must be comfortable performing day-to-day interaction with nursing home staff and residents.

Plant Operator

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Controls the operation of the machine during production to ensure operating procedures for the machine are strictly adhered to
  • Observes pressure, temperature, level, and flow gauges to ensure standard operation.
  • Tests oxygen for purity and moisture content at various stages of process
  • Adjusts equipment according to test results and knowledge of process and equipment.
  • Turns valves to transfer compressed oxygen to storage cylinders.
  • Cleans and repairs equipment, such as replacing defective valves as per preventive and curative maintenance procedures
  • Records gauge readings and test result
  • Read log sheets to determine product demand and disposition, or to detect malfunctions
  • Record, review, and compile operations records, test results, and gauge readings such as temperatures, pressures, concentrations, and flows.
  • Use computers extensively to produce and analyze designs and report every activity to intended person regularly.

Qualification and Experience

  • Level IV TVET college (Biomedical, Mechanical, Electrical) or equivalent educational background.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in operation and/or maintenance of a Gas Plant.
  • Technical knowledge of equipment operations and maintenance
  • Experience working in environments that operate 24 hours a day with different shifts
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • The ability to collaborate with other operators to solve unit problems
