Responsibilities or duties

Providing physiotherapy services to patients in an outpatient unit/ ward/health institution

Assessing patients’ needs including rehabilitation

Colleting, Verifying and maintaining information related to patients

Screening, assessing and providing therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, electrotherapy and hydrotherapy as per the patients/clients formulated treatment plan

Carrying out physical disability assessment and categorization, registration and other disability services

Sensitizing the community on physiotherapy services

Collecting data for operational research

Preparing periodic reports.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

Bachelor’s Degree in physiotherapy from a recognized institution

Certificate in computer supplication skills from a recognized institution

Current certificate of practice from Physiotherapy Council of Kenya (PCK)
