Job Description

Duties and responsibilities

Maintenance and repair of County Equipment’s; Repair and maintenance of county Light and heavy construction plants, earth Moving equipment’s off the Road Trucks as instructed by the supervisor; Checks and inspects any defects; Maintaining cleanliness of the work place and maintaining tools of work.

Requirements & Qualifications

For appointment to this grade, an applicant MUST have: -

• KCSE Mean Grade of D+(Plus) or its equivalent
• Plant Mechanic National Trade Test Certificate Grade III with proven practical experience of three years as Plant Mechanic III.
• Or Relevant Preliminary Level Apprentice Certificate awarded by the Directorate of Industrial Training with a proven practical experience of three years as plant mechanic III
• Or Relevant preliminary level certificate awarded by the Kenya Institute of Highway and Building Technology (KIHBIT) with proven practical experience of three years as Plant Mechanic III
• A valid driving license.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 12

Level of Education: professional certificate
