Position Overview
The Pre-Sales Consultant will support revenue growth by driving pre-sales activities for Techno Brain’s solutions across Digital Identity, Public Financial Management (PFM), and Tax domains, primarily within public sector clients in Africa and Asia. The role is responsible for managing RFPs/tenders, developing winning technical proposals, and delivering impactful demonstrations and presentations that enable successful deal closures.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end pre-sales activities for Enterprise and public sector opportunities
- Analyze RFPs/RFIs/tenders and develop compliant technical and commercial proposals
- Design solution approaches aligned to client requirements across Digital Identity, PFM, and Tax systems
- Deliver tailored product demonstrations, presentations and POCs
- Develop strong value propositions and differentiators to enhance bid success
- Support bid defenses, client workshops, and technical discussions
- Ensure timely, high-quality proposal submissions
- Collaborate with sales, delivery, and product teams across regions
- Maintain reusable proposal content, case studies, and solution artifacts
Requirements
- 8–10 years of experience in pre-sales, solution consulting, bid management, or solution architecture for enterprise software/IT solutions
- Proven experience in designing and architecture complex, large-scale solutions, particularly for government or enterprise environments.
- Strong exposure to public sector RFPs/tenders, preferably across Africa and/or Asia markets
- Solid understanding of government platforms such as Digital Identity, Public Financial Management (PFM), Tax Administration, or similar domains
- Demonstrated ability to translate business and functional requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performance technology architectures
- Hands-on experience in end-to-end solution design, including integration architecture, deployment models (cloud/on-prem/hybrid), and system interoperability
- Experience with open-source technologies and architectures is a strong advantage
- Strong presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience in proposal writing, solution documentation, technical bid responses, and product demonstrations
- Ability to manage multiple bids and solution tracks under tight timelines with high attention to detail
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and structuring skills in complex solutions environments
- Collaborative mindset with experience working across cross-functional teams (product, engineering, delivery, and sales), and willingness to travel as required
