  • Printing Machine operators (2)
Machine setup: Mount plates or cylinders, load paper, and prepare other components of the printing press. Operation and monitoring: Operate machines like offset, flexographic, or digital presses, controlling settings for ink, speed, and pressure. They monitor computer screens and visually check the print quality for consistency. Quality control: Ensure color accuracy, alignment, and overall print quality meet job specifications. Maintenance: Clean and maintain the machines between print runs to ensure they function properly. Troubleshooting: Quickly identify and resolve mechanical issues that arise during production.
Mechanical aptitude, good hand-eye coordination, and the ability to read measurements are beneficial. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, patience, and effective communication and teamwork skills are important.
