As a Product Manager at Powwater, you will play a key role in shaping our product offerings to better serve our customers. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, and operations, to enhance product features, improve user experience, provide product support, and ensure the highest quality standards.
Location: In-person attendance for all Kenyan candidates at our office.
Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Development:
- Assist in defining and executing the product roadmap in alignment with Powwater's business goals.
- Gather and analyze user feedback, market trends, and data insights to identify opportunities for product improvements.
- Support the development of new features and enhancements by collaborating with the engineering teams.
- Help document product specifications and ensure smooth execution of new product initiatives.
Product Support & Quality Assurance:
- Provide first-line product support, troubleshooting technical issues, and working with the tech team to resolve bugs.
- Conduct QA testing for new features, ensuring products meet performance, usability, and reliability standards.
- Monitor product performance metrics and proactively flag potential issues for resolution.
- Work closely with the customer support team to understand common challenges and improve product usability.
User Experience & Research:
- Conduct user research, interviews, and surveys to understand customer pain points and improve product usability.
- Work with UI/UX designers to optimize customer journeys and interface designs.
- Track and analyze product engagement data to enhance customer experience.
Project Management & Execution:
- Assist in managing product development cycles, ensuring timely releases of features and improvements.
- Collaborate with the tech team to prioritize and troubleshoot bug fixes for a seamless user experience.
- Support in A/B testing and data-driven decision-making to optimize product functionality.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Partner with sales and customer support teams to gather insights on customer needs and pain points.
- Work closely with marketing to ensure proper product positioning and messaging.
- Align with operations teams to improve logistics and service delivery efficiency.
Minimum Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in product management, business analysis, product support, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
- Experience in QA testing and troubleshooting technical issues is a plus.
- Understanding of agile development methodologies and product lifecycle management.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams.
- Passion for impact-driven work and a deep interest in improving water accessibility.
