Qualifications, Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field
• Proven experience as a Production Manager in manufacturing
• Strong understanding of wood product manufacturing processes (assembly, finishing, packaging)
• Experience with Lean methodologies (5S, Six Sigma, Kaizen)
• Familiarity with quality control standards and production systems
• Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities

• Production Planning & Resource Management: Plan and execute production schedules, optimize use of materials and labor, and coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of inputs.
• Leadership & Team Performance: Lead production teams, drive performance, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Quality Control & Process Improvement: Ensure adherence to quality standards, resolve production issues, and drive Lean initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Health, Safety & Compliance: Maintain compliance with safety standards, conduct audits, and implement corrective actions to ensure a safe working environment.
