Job Overview:

The Program Associate will support the implementation and monitoring of various programs within the IRC Kenya country program. This role involves assisting program teams with administrative tasks, data collection, reporting, and coordination with stakeholders. The Program Associate will work remotely and will be expected to contribute to the smooth functioning of program activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning, implementation, and monitoring of program activities.
  • Provide administrative support to program staff, including scheduling meetings, preparing documents, and managing correspondence.
  • Support data collection, entry, and analysis for program monitoring and evaluation.
  • Assist in the preparation of program reports and other documentation.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners as needed.
  • Maintain program records and ensure proper filing.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as International Development, Social Sciences, Public Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in program support or administration, preferably within an NGO or humanitarian context.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with data collection and reporting tools is an advantage.
  • Commitment to the mission and values of the IRC.

Experience:

Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience.

Work Environment:

This is a remote position. The successful candidate will be expected to have a reliable internet connection and a suitable workspace.
